Cabutto is a historic family estate in the heart of Barolo, dedicated to crafting wines that reflect the elegance and structure of Nebbiolo. Sourced from estate vineyards planted on the region’s famed marl and limestone soils, the grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a long, gentle maceration to extract depth and complexity. Traditional ageing in large Slavonian oak casks allows the wine to develop its signature balance of power and finesse. The nose is refined and expressive, with aromas of dried cherry, rose petal, and tar, layered with hints of liquorice, spice, and earthy truffle. The palate is structured and intense, with firm yet polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, savoury finish that lingers with notes of cedar and dried herbs. A classic and age-worthy Barolo that embodies the heritage and tradition of the region.
