100% Nebbiolo and light ruby in colour, this wine has an intense fragrance of red berries. It’s a juicy, fruit-driven wine that is described by Osvaldo, the winemaker, as a ‘carnivore’s rosé’. Make of that what you will, the wine has lovely grip and is made from 100% Barolo (he ‘bleeds’ the fermenting Barolo tank early in the fermentation to create this exceptional value Rosato). The process means that tannins, colour and aroma are all distinctly reminiscent of the ‘grand vin’. Suitable for light summer dishes including pork, chicken and tuna.
