Carmenère has a long history in the Colli Berici, where the warm climate and iron-rich clay soils provide the perfect conditions for this once-forgotten variety to thrive. The Inama family has been at the forefront of its revival, crafting Carminium from a selection of old-vine parcels. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel to retain purity, followed by aging in French oak barriques for added depth and complexity. This refined Carmenère exudes aromas of ripe blackcurrant, wild berries, and black pepper, intertwined with notes of tobacco, dark chocolate, and dried herbs.
