Once mistaken for Cabernet Franc, Carmenère has found a true home in the volcanic soils of the Veneto, and the Inama family has been instrumental in reviving its potential. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards, the grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, followed by fermentation in stainless steel to preserve purity of fruit. The wine then undergoes aging in a combination of used barriques and larger oak casks, allowing it to develop depth and complexity while maintaining freshness. Carmenere Più opens with intense aromas of dark berries, black pepper, and tobacco, layered with hints of cocoa, rosemary, and subtle spice. The palate is smooth and structured, with velvety tannins and a deep, lingering finish marked by notes of dark chocolate and fresh herbs. A distinctive and modern expression of Carmenère, showcasing the grape’s elegance and potential in northern Italy.
